This Local garden centre was taken over by a national chain about 3 months ago and it is now a shadow of its former self. What a shame, all the old staff have left, the current staff have no knowledge of the plants. The stock has been re priced to extortionate levels, pet food example Dentastix £9.30 Brookes, Mole Valley £6.75! ridiculous. My husband has been this morning to try to buy small stakes for trees £4.00 each compared to £2.40 at Homeleigh in Launceston for much larger ones. He left without them. The choice of pet food is much reduced and they no longer do loose dog biscuits or bird seed, we have fortunately found another supplier locally. This morning there were precisely 5 cars in the car park which used to be permanently full , and only 2 other customers in the store and about 6 in the cafe. Only two staff on duty for the whole place. If this is s new and improved it s certainly not. We will not bother to go there again. Such a shame as it used to be so good

Easy access and parking and excellent for day to day consumables. Great restaurant with good food and always clean. Household furniture a little expensive and limited range but for most other items like garden furniture, sheds and plants etc a good selection is available. Overall worth a visit.
