Do not take your children to see Father Christmas at Blackbrooks today. It is really awful. We queued for an hour, it costs £6 each child! Which you didn't know beforehand as they don't advertise the price! The Father Christmas was in a white tent with no decorations behind him so not even a photo opportunity. The present was rubbish a paper bag you stick a face on! and all the children got exactly the same. Father Christmas didn't even speak to the children, they were in the tent less than 30 seconds! The worst thing was the children's comments afterwards in their response to the rubbish present and the zero response from 'santa' when they said does 'father Christmas' think we were bad this year? Broke my heart. I know they are giving a donation to st Michaels hospice from the santas visits but I doubt they will be giving £5 a child (taking away the cost of the present) Another thing is their prices throughout the store are considerably higher than when we visited
