We import plants from far and wide, as well as supporting local growers. We have a large covered area full of seasonal plants and more importantly somewhere to browse if the Welsh weather decides not to behave!

I will never visit this garden centre again based on the service we received on Saturday in the cafe. After ordering 3 breakfasts ( one breakfast without mushrooms and another without tomato’s) they turned up with both. We kindly told the lady that we didn’t request these and she took them back to the kitchen. They must have literally swiped them off the plate and bought them back. By this time the breakfasts were cold. Again we told the lady that our food was cold and we asked where the toast was and she said the breakfast did not come with toast. (I’m sorry but what English breakfast comes without toast). We then kindly asked the lady if she would order us 2 rounds of roasts and she then proceeded to tell us that we need to go back up to the counter to order it. Seriously this really takes the biscuit. At this point we’d all had enough. My daughter was hungry and upset so we got a full refund and left. Maybe a customer service course would go down well.

We took our 4 year old grandson to Santa’s Grotto. There was a 3 hour wait. Ok - it was busy but we decided to wait to avoid disappointment. Off to the restaurant while we wait. Our grandson is a fussy eater and the only thing he wanted was a slice of toast. They were still serving toasted sandwiches and paninis but they point blank refused to do a slice of toast as breakfast had finished. The toaster and bread could be seen from the till point. I explained the situation to the assistant but she said it was not possible! Absolutely unbelievable - no customer service whatsoever. There was no apparent reason for the 3 hour wait to see Santa either. We went back to the grotto way in advance of our ticket number. They had just let a child in who was 11 numbers after ours. When we asked if we could go in early we were allowed in. I believe the 3 hour wait was just a ploy to make you spend money while you wait. We wouldn’t have minded if the service had been there. Very disapointing!

I took my grandson with my daughter & 2 other children to see Santa 8th Dec - we got there for 10am as I was told that's what time it opened - but my daughter had to que for about 40mins to get tickets - we had 61/62/63. & at 10.40am Santa was on Number 12! We were in for over a 2hr wait ! Try telling that to a 3yr old - other places offer time slots & Pre booking ? Santa was lovely & the whole grotto experience very good but waiting over 21/2 hrs isn't
