fantastic stop on the way to the coast clean ,lovely fresh food and amaing staff. my husband and i found this garden centre by accident so pleased we did.the staff are so efficient even when very busy especially in the coffee lounge .the only criticism i would have is the toilets they need some attention .the plants are good value for money all in all fab place to spend a few hours

I find the staff at California Gardens brilliant. They are always willing to help and are always friendly - even the dogs! There is a fantastic range of plants, shrubs , seeds etc, and the plants are always healthy and well cared for. the prices are very good too, especially the offers! Although California Gardens is not my nearest garden centre, it's the one I like the best. The choice of gardening tools and equipment is good and I can always find what i'm looking for. The cafe too, is excellent, serving good food and drinks. I love the cappucino! and i never feel hurried when i'm in there. I recommend California Gardens highly.

For more years than I can remember California Gardens has been a staging post on my many trips from from Sheffield to Bridlington and back. I have had family connections in Brid until this last week when my Mum finally left to be with me in Sheffield. The cafe has been the great attraction and because the frequency of trips increased over last 2 or 3 years I have enjoyed a cuppa and bacon sandwich more times than I can count. But, sad to say, my reason for passing having gone, I shall no longer be enjoying the lovely welcome and fare from the three Carols, Lynne and others. Can't say I'll miss the journey though - but you have been a friendly little oasis on my travels! Thanks a million!
