Yesterday I bought a pot of wall flowers and a tray of violas. I was charged £9.98. As I walked away I realised I'd been overcharged for the violas by £1. I went back, waited and then was taken to a different till to sort it out. So far so good! The problem then was that the assistant had no idea how to work the till in such a way as to correct the error and give me my £1. We were there ages and getting absolutely nowhere. I was getting nervous because it was 10 past 3 on a Sunday and I wanted to nip to a supermarket and use up an £8 token which was going out of date that day. I asked if she could just give me £1 from the other till and sort out this error at her leisure. She was very reluctant and ignored me so I caught the other assistant's eye, the one who had served me originally and asked for my £1 and he just opened the till and gave it me. The problem lies with the bar code saying £6.99 and the tickets on all of the violas and pansies say £5.99 also lack of training and customer service on the tills. How many other people have been caught out with paying too much and have they put this error right?

Centre is neither pet nor people friendly. Very rude and unhelpful staff who have mo idea what GOOD customer service is. Management obviously dont care either. Taking my custom elsewhere in future!

My husband and I dropped in for afternoon tea and cake last week at 4.15pm. While my husband was paying I chose a seat to enjoy the view. I realised a member of staff was vacuuming close by in the corner with a very smelly Henry Vacuum. My husband went over and turned the vacuum away from us with very little response from the member of staff. It dawned on us that she was in the process of vacuuming the whole carpet and it wasn't just a spillage. I have sent a message of complaint to Customer Services but they have not responded. My feeling is that, if they are willing to take £9 for 2 cups of tea and 2 very mediocre pieces of jam sponge, then they should at least let us eat it in peace and quiet. If the cafe is open then they shouldn't start cleaning up. It is very rude and inconsiderate and should only start after they have closed up. It is also rude to not respond to my complaint in reasonable time.
