We take pride in being a traditionally plant focused Garden Centre. Not only do we stock a great range of seasonal bedding, perennials, shrubs and trees, we also grow many of them at our own nursery. This means that we can reduce our carbon footprint by lowering plants miles and it also enables us to pass on some fantastic savings to our customers. As well as all that, we also have on hand our resident horticultural gurus who are always happy to anwswer any of your gardening questions.

In many garden centres you walk through miles of clothes & gift shops before finding anything to do with gardening, so Chepstow Garden Centre is a refreshing change. There are a few 'gifty' bits, but they are tucked out of the way so you can avoid them if you are not interested. Plants and gardening equipment are the stars of the show here - a good quality, wide range at reasonable prices, plus seeds from several different suppliers and a good selection of bird food & feeders. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I live in Wiltshire, but visit this garden centre once a month as it is much better than any of the ones near me. I recommend joining their gardening club if you visit often. My one dislike is the new restaurant which resembles a factory canteen more than a garden centre café. We had lunch there today and the food was ok, but it was very noisy even though we were there at a quiet time. I'd rather finish my garden shopping and drive into Chepstow for a meal in future.

My partner & I ordered 2 x chicken roast lunches & 2 x pots of tea. Firstly the teas were not prepared, therefore I had to go back to the counter & ask for them. Overall the restaurant was fairly busy & as the lunch service continued the tables started to stack up with dirty crockery. We noticed that several other customers were asking the staff where their food was, as it had not arrived. 2 x roast BEEF lunches eventually arrived after a 31 minute wait (from till to table). After such a long wait we decided to eat the beef instead of insisting on the chicken we has originally ordered. We asked the waitress for additional drinks as we had finished our tea some time before. The 'seasonal vegetables' - peas, carrots & cabbage were horrible. They had obviously been microwaved to keep them warm. The peas had exploded, carrots were dry & black, cabbage was very pale and lacked any taste. We were very disappointed with the overall experience & wanted to leave as soon as possible.
