My partner and I visited the orange grove today and left totally shocked and upset. From the taking of our order, to receiving the incorrect food and then finally my having to ask for a refund the whole experience was totally disappointing, The lady who came out and asked me to explain why I wished to have a refund was later revealed to be the chef, She was totally unapologetic, rude and miserable, I was made to feel that I should have eaten the jacket potatoe which was microwaved and undercooked with cold baked beans and congealed cheese. At no point was I offered any sort of apology. The chef was so unbelievably rude she should be sent on a course to learn how to cook and serve the general public. The other lady was no better, glaring and snarling. What an awful experience. I had been this this restaurant once before and it was not like today, I don't know what has changed to make all of the staff so miserable and unhelpful!! Definitely not worth 5 star rating! more 1 star!

This nursery has a family feel about it. It is obvious everydody cares about nature and animals in addition to plants. It has a "homespun" feel about it. If you have a problem with your garden or plants there is always someone who will help you out. I have been on some splendid coach trips with people who seem to be of "a like mind". I always go here first and then wander further afield if necessary. I will always thank David's Nurseries for organising coach trips to Highgrove. A more beautiful garden i have yet to see.

I have been going to David's for some time plants were always looked after,but yesterday Reg helped me out by finding me a tree I had gone for but it did not end there all the other plants I wanted he helped me find them.We are very very grateful,what healthy looking plants
