We came weekly for a meal quite a while ago but the standard of the meals went off. However we decided to give it a other try. The meal was more expensive and certainly not what we hoped for. My companion ordered steak very rare. It arrived well done. She asked for it to be replaced _rare. It arrived medium cooked but she did eat it. I ordered a ham omlette . It was awful. The ham was dried up and the omlette was like cardboard. We will not be going again for a meal. The nursery seems to have lost the cosy friendly atmosphere but the plant selection is very good

I've been a regular user of The Olive Grove since it opened and always thought that it was excellent value and the food was outstanding. Sadly over the last few months things have definitely changed. Prices have rocketed and portions have been cut. The food is still good but not good value. I and many of the people who have been faithful to The Olive Grove have now relocated to a lovely café near Salwarpe - the food there is consistently good and reasonably priced. It takes a very long time to build up a good business with a good reputation and The Olive Grove has spoiled theirs - I suspect because they've got greedy - shame.
