My wife and I visited this centre today for the first time, the plants and garden products, generally were ok.! Several of the staff had no idea what we talking about in the Rose section but had the sence to go and ask.! But this all changed when we went for a cuppa,!!!!! I don't think I've ever gone to any place anywhere in the country with such a MISERABLE set of staff. You would have thought we had asked them to slit their wrists instead of asking for a pot of tea...!!!

I went with my family to David's Nurseries and I must say we were appalled. Every staff member we encountered was rude and had no customer service skills whatsoever! We went into the fish area to look around and we were watching a couple of staff members trying to catch a fish and we asked why they were catching him and they completely ignored us! So we asked again and then only got a one word answer. The staff in the cafe were even worse, no eye contact, no manners and just seemed genuinely unhappy we were there. I can deal with the odd member of staff being a bit unhappy but to have everyone we encountered be completely rude to us was appalling. We will not be returning anytime soon, which is a shame as it has always been so nice.

Well worth passing 6 other garden centres to get to David's garden centre. Ample parking space, plenty of trollies and a superb sellection of plants and gardening extras. A quick look round, lunch and back to a serious look around and buying. Staff are so friendly and helpful wiothout being over the top, well done, keep up the excellent service and we will continue our monthly visit to you, p.s. your scone tea is wonderful
