We had lunch yesterday. We'd been warned those serving on the food counter were abrupt, miserable and lacking customer relation skills this was most apparent (Smiling). Sandra on the coffee & cake side was totally opposite, a pleasure to meet. She enjoys her job and it shows. BTW requesting a glass of tap water is amusing there is only one small jug located with the drinks on the food section.

May 2013, my first visit to Fairways. I can honestly say this is by far the nicest and best garden centre I have ever visited. Unusual gifts, stone ornaments many of which I have never seen before, good quality products and exceptionally displayed both inside and out, I loved it. A visit to the restaurant on the first floor is a must, the selection of hot and cold lunches was excellent, something for everyone, also teas coffees and cakes at reasonable prices. I can't wait to return and take my elderly Mum, who will be as thrilled as I am. A gem set in beautiful countryside.
