Our customers have also told us that they love our planetarium because it is at the heart of everything we do. Which is hardly surprising, we were growing plants at Forest long before Garden Centres had been invented, in fact, you could say that after 7 generations of being nurserymen, compost is in our blood.

Visited forest garden center today 23/8/18, very helpful staff and great products as always enjoy a walk around and buying something for my garden when we have been before.this was the first time using the cafe me and my husband had a cup of coffee and a piece of cake each .asked for cream for the cake .wich came in a very small jug my husband poured his cream on his cake and inside his jug there was a thick ring of cream stuck around the inside same with mine the jugs didn’t feel cold to touch so not been in a fridge the cream wasant cold . .wasant sure wether to eat it or not ,but I said I’m sure it will be ok .didnt enjoy it at all though .we paid the bill however was shocked to see it was just under£14. .we both had upset tummy that evening and has my husband has lung cancer he took to bed early .cant believe the price of a small piece of cheesecake to be £4.25 . its cheaper at chatsworth house and far more enjoyable ,very disappointed and won’t be visiting the cafe again .

This is only my second visit however everything and everyone associated with Forest Garden Centre including the quality of plants, products and staff are A1 it makes a visit worthwhile plus a bonus of a visit to the cafe, lovely selection of food and the scones which I enjoyed so much, many thanks to the lovely lady behind the counter who made them!!
