Find your garden centre

Rating

The business is now run by Gareth Fryer, grandson of the founder and is one of the largest producers in the country. As in 1912, it is still Fryer's aim to provide what they consider to be the best varieties of roses for garden display and all round reliability.

I went for my lunch with my family here today. It was awful. Never again. Took ages to be served, Food was cold, order was wrong but too hungry so had to eat it, waitress was very rude.. Asked for things that never arrived. When I asked again I got a terrible attitude from her saying we didn't ask her. Over priced food. Generally awful. If I could give no stars I would

My friend and I were looking forward to a lovely lunch at this garden centre today. We ordered two red thai chicken curries with corriander rice. The meal was edible, but nothing like a thai curry- more like a chicken stew and the rice was cold. For dessert we ordered two pavlovas, only to be informed that there was just one left, so my friend had chocolate fudge cake instead. The fudge cake looked and tasted like it had been on the plate for a week. The pavlova was also stale and I got charged 50pence for a portion of single cream, on top of the initial price of £3.95 for a measly sized dessert. All in all I feel this is poor quality for the price of the meal which cost over £30. Lovely garden centre and shop but skip the cafe.
