AWFUL. Extremely disappointed with the quality of plants, the website descriptions and sale team service. I purchased two black bamboo (Phyllostachys Nigra) advertised as 120-140cm tall. These turned up damaged - broken canes and dried out crispy leaves. On top of this they were only half the height at 60cm. I was RUDELY told by the team at Grasslands that it was winter damage and the plants will be fine. I don't want DAMAGED plants, I want my plants to be fine now. Especially if they are costing nearly £40 each, not really cheap. I also purchased a large tree fern (Dicksonia Antartica) sold as a 4 foot log i.e. 4 feet of trunk below the fronds. This also measured up short at 38 inches or 3'2" no where near 4 foot. The sales team again rudely said that I had the right plant and that they bury around a foot of trunk in the soil to stop it from falling over. What a joke - and massive CON. Grasslands is not to be trusted and not a pleasant place to buy. NEVER AGAIN!
