Visit this garden centre regularly and have generally been satisfied with the service. However, on our visit to the cafe today my sister and family were being served by one assistant and another assistant called next, as my daughters and I were just looking at the menu and deciding, having been there less than a couple of minutes. Nobody else was waiting in the queue, we took another few seconds to choose and to make our way to the assistant, during which time she muttered loud enough for my sister to hear " oh give me strength" in a derogatory tone of voice, presumably for being kept waiting. Disgusted she made the comment and even worse loud enough for other customers to overhear. Very unprofessional.

I found Hampsons a while ago and have introduced quite a few friends to this garden centre and love the cheap plants and now craft shop and wool. My garden is full of good cheap plants and now looking for some more fruit trees. I am sure when we come next week we will find something we want if not we can always have our dinner which is good value for money

Absolutely disgusted. After ordering flowers for a friend (not cheap, not great quality as advertised online) I specifically spelled out the name and message I wished to have on the card- neither was in any way correct. They put the WRONG NAME on the card which is entirely unprofessional, so when they were delivered my friend did not know who they were from, will not be dealing with them again!! if you wish to purchase flowers for someone, go somewhere else- do not waste your hard earned money on their shoddy service.
