Been shopping at this centre from the day it opened. Spent, lots and lots of money. Always found a bargain, one way or another. What I really really like is that EVERY time I go, which is often, I always see the OWNER. This man works like a trojan and deserves every success, no task is too small for him, great guy. This man LEADS from the front, and not too many owners do that.

Since moving home and discovering this garden centre I have been a regular visitor to Hampsons during the past year, and spent a lot of money on various perennial and bedding plants, and shrubs.... I am an experienced gardener and have treated the plants and shrubs I have bought from Hampsons correctly, and with care. However, not one of them survived once transplanted... even the summer bedding plants - easy species for even the most inexperienced, did not flourish, and in my opinion, the cheap prices for SOME items are reflected in the overall quality, which in my opinion is POOR. On a return journey I spoke to a member of staff about the problems I'd had with previous purchases and they couldn't have cared less - one just shrugged at me, and even the centre manager was rude, smug, and dismissive. As a result I will not use this garden centre and travel 15 miles back to the one near my old home, where I know the quality is far higher. Beware.

Hi for any one reading this,this the best garden centre we have been to for a long time we go and start the day with breakfast then a good look around. some of their plants and flowers are fantastic and the staff are very obliging, my wife and I are going this morning sat the 16th thanks Hampsons Brian Vickers
