Had a lovely week in Overstrand. Wow,best meal was that one we had at your lovely tearooms, Filled up my wife and myself at such a good price too. Lovely friendly staff too. Please thank Dawn for her help in getting my wife organised as she is has been ill recently. Also the waitress, Rebecca,for her help too. Great place, lovely meal and oh so helpful staff. We will be back again soon. xx

My husband and I visited the Overstrand Cottage Graden Centre last week during our holiday in Norfolk. We are both keen gardeners and I can honestly say that I have rarely come across such well displayed or sell kept plants. We were tempted by so many of the lovely plants there, but as we were on holiday, had to resist the urge to buy so much that caught our eye, but not before coming away with a lovely Hydrangea to add to our already well-stocked garden at home. (As my husband says "you can never have too many plants"!!) We also had lunch in the Gardeners Retreat Tearoom and found that the same attention to detail extended into here. The staff were welcoming and courteous and the lunch was delicious and plentiful. A special mention of the yummy fruit scones. Our friends are visiting Norfolk next week and I will be strongly recommending that they pay you a visit during their time there.

My husband & i visited this garden centre today, & went in the restaurant, We were served in a few minuties of sitting down, The place looked clean, We both ordered a sandwich, within a few minuties of it being served to us & after we both had had a bite the bread felt stale & looking at it closer the bread was mouldy . all round the edges, How could the chef have not noticed this when preparing it. We were not of couse charged, but will not be going there again,

Hello , M Woodhouse, I`m so sorry you had a bad meal in the Tearoom, I will show the staff your review and do something about it.The Garden centre staff work so hard to keep up standards and I'm wholeheartedly disappointed the Tearoom staff are less committed to our ethos ,I see no reason to put effort into making a dry stale sandwich, when we have fresh daily deliveries. I will be onto this as soon as I'm back at work . Thank you so much for your review and honesty. Diane Owner
