I have been going to planters virtually since it first opens and have allways been pleased with every thing.about five weeks ago I purchased an item on Saturday which was on display with no price there were a few chips on the item and the assistant said its about £15 but as its damaged you can have it for ten pound. Which I did . While browsing different garden centres later that day we discovered the same item was £4.99 rrp .on Monday I called in to planters just to say that I had seen the item £4.99 but was met by an arrogant ,insolent assistant ,who said they wasn't interested, and could charge what they wanted ..I said I would never go in planters again .but yesterday we were passing and my wife wanted to go in .we were chatting to Sylvia who is exceptional and went out of her way to be helpful .we said its a pity all the staff aren't has helpful and friendly like you.and I said I would highly recommend her for customer care but not your other assistant who's name I don't

Planters is a great centre - one of the largest in our area. They've recently built an adventure rope/climbing course called Sky Trail - which is great. We all went on (our group was aged between 7 & 52) - a brilliant adrenaline rush!!. There are lots of great quality products and plants (which you would expect from a garden centre of this size). Their Christmas displays are always brilliant and second to none!. The only downside to Planters is the the customer service from the till staff - on a couple of occasions they are quite miserable and a bit rude. They are often chatting amongst themselves and a tad reluctant to stop their conversation and acknowledge you. BUT - the centre is brilliant and well worth a visit. We often pop in just for a coffee in the restaurant, the food is delish!

I was not happy with how we were treated when we visited their store. They didn't like the fact that we had a complaint and were arrogant with the way they dealt with it. The only response we got was that they were a privately owned company and so customers had no right to complain. There are plenty of other good garden centres in the area which I am more than happy to visit - but not this one.
