I have been coming here since I was a baby, now a mum to two (4&2 years old) they love looking at the fish, the toys, the rides in the toy section (a little round about ride) and the coffee shop. I agree with above comments about the getting the food and then drinks its a bit of a faff especially with two young children in tow. The food is often luke warm and some.of the food very dry to eat. The butchers is very friendly and helpful, the little shop selling fruit and veg all seems local produce along with jams, cheeses and frozen bits. Some bits are over priced but the quality is good. The toilets are a bit grotty, and there aren't very many about. Maybe time.for a bath room re vamp?? We have also been visiting Santa for many many years and its only getting Better!! Talking of Santa we are of to visit him this morning ????

The only thing my family and I think is bad when you go to get a meal or tea /coffee you have to go to another place with a cashier to pay buy then the trays getting heavier and drinks meld going cold and the loos army very clean not checked but staff vey nice and so much to buy we go twice a year

Pothill is a reasonable garden centre which if you live local would be okay for plants, garden furniture,etc. Going there on a coach trip from Essex last week was a big mistake to us and others on the coach. After one hour we wanted to leave, the heat was unbearable, the toilets were dirty and the food in the self service canteen was expensive and not enjoyable, after another three hours we were relieved to board the coach.
