Not tried the tearoom so this refers to garden centre only. Very helpful lady member of staff ( I think she is the owner) gave lots of advice regarding fig trees. Even advised not to buy feed for ours so lost a sale there. Garden centre is well laid out and plants look healthy and well cared for. Some quirky looking ornaments and interesting plant variety. Worth a visit just for the views.

Lovely garden centre with beautiful views and plenty of interesting ideas for your garden,but I must say the cafe could do with a change of staff.... a nice friendly smile and greeting wouldnt go a miss!!!

Arrive early to experience a breakfast on the sunny veranda or inside the warm, clean café if cold, before making friends with the chickens who have the run of the place on your voyage of discovery in the barn, glasshouses or outside in the fresh air. This nursery is the "go to" place for all your gardening needs, from plants to pots and from seeds to statues, and if you can't find what you're looking for, the friendly, knowledgeable staff will point you in the right direction or suggest an alternative. Although just off a very busy by-pass, it is so peaceful and calming. With plenty of free parking, it's easy just to pop in, but take my advice, leave yourself plenty of time as the place is full of wonderful and unusual things to distract you. Altogether a "must" for any gardener, ambitious or just pottering.
