Visited this wonderful garden centre for the very first time at the weekend (20/06/2015) Absolutely loved the buildings and the individual displays of plants, crafts and garden accessories. What a pleasure to be able to see the free flying birds that were nesting in the roof and the chickens that freely strutted there stuff wherever they chose to be. Sally's serves a lovely coffee and the food was yummy!! I found the prices very reasonable and the customer service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and advise and information was readily available. Will definitely revisit when visiting our friends who live fairly local....we are from Penzance in Cornwall.. Thank you for a lovely experience.

The staff seem friendly but don't pester you which is something I really like as it makes a relaxed atmosphere especially when compared to the big commercial centres you can visit. As someone under 30 I've found it somewhere I can go to get a quick bite to eat and occupy an hour of my day avoiding the noisey streets of a town centre. The food I've tried has been nice and the food I've seen served has always looked nice; the prices are reasonable and no worse than anywhere else nowadays. I was shocked at how much the plants cost being new to gardening and wanting the best of the best but after visiting a few more garden centres I found the prices here very typical and again no worse than any other garden centres. All in all a nice opportunity to get out of the house and have a wander around and I'm sure children would enjoy it due to the resident chickens. All of the products and plants I have bought from The secret Garden have worked well, what more could you want :)

I have become a garden a holic since discovering this amazing little treasure locally, I find I have to go around again and again to take it all in, the staff are all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, I love this garden center, its cheaper than the big boys, and the chickens roaming around its sheer magic. Not ventured into the cafe again, but its on the list.
