I have shopped at this garden centre for years and have always received good service. Unfortunately my last visit there I received anything but. I had the same experience as the reviewer Amy. Staff very rude, again because they were closing. They were obviously all desperate to go home so were standing around glaring at us as we finished our purchase and were none too polite when we were paying. I won't be going there again.

Usually go here with my mum yearly and are able to find a great selection for a reasonable price. However the last time we visited we were appalled with the service we received. We arrived saw no staff so milled around, a member of staff than appeared a good five minutes later to tell us they are closing shortly. So then we had to rush, if only they had told us as we entered. So we picked up a small selection during which the staff with a tone demanded we hurry up. My mum just selected a few more whilst the member of staff and whom appeared to be her whole family, not employees, glared at me. They than were very rude and abrupt whilst serving us. Very disappointed, I understand it was closing time but if they had told as soon as we walked in we would have been faster, and as for the attitude completely unnecessary! Don't think we'll be returning

We have visited many times and love this place. We were helped and served by Natalie who was knowledgeable and friendly with a nice chat about garden birds :) A great garden centre with lots of range and ideas.
