This is without doubt the finest plant nursery I have ever used......and I'm no spring chicken! Staff are attentive and knowledgeable and every plant I have ever bought from them has been first class. Very many plants are "home grown". Prices are extremely reasonable, particularly given the excellent quality. Wide range of gardening equipment, composts, fertilisers etc. There is also a first class small retail shop specialising in local produce. A REAL nursery.

This garden centre is the most wonderful place to visit. It's not huge and impersonal like the big chains, instead it's friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff make you feel welcome and the plants are outstanding. Exceptional quality with good prices compared to many other local garden centres. I can loose myself here for a good hour or so surrounded by beautiful plants. Always a pleasure to pop in on passing and never disappointed with anything I have purchased from a very helpful and friendly team. I live a little further away now but well worth the journey and still a favourite place to visit. Thank you Staverton.

A friend introduced me to Staverton 3 years ago and I have to admit it is the best Nursery I have visited in Sussex by far. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, even to the point of searching through a book for a small problem I had with a plant, Nothing appears to be too much trouble. The nursery itself is spotlessly clean and everything looks cared for and orderly, just wish there was a coffee shop and then what a perfect way to spend an afternoon it would be. No doubt I will be back clutching my visa card and returning home with a bootful of goodies.
