What's more, as a nursery, as against a garden centre, we grow the majority of our plants here at Swarkestone (all herbacious and bedding plants). As the growers, we understand the plants and we can give you good advice on how to grow them. We don't just buy them in and sell them on like many of our larger competitors.

we visited your nursery on Sunday 24th April and we were delighted we stopped by .We found it so very nice and the produce was in excelant condishion we were amased at the vriority of plands and vegetables some I had never seen before .the garden accessories was so interesting We stopped for coffee and found the resteraunt very clean and well stocked .All things considered we had a lovely afternoo and we inten to return at the weekend to show our son and his wife our fantastic find .we are still exploring the area as we lived in Spain for sixteen years and so we are very happy thank you for a most enjoyable afternoon sheila williams

We have used this family run nursery for many years and have watched it develop. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Stock is well set out and the site is tidy and welcoming. This has become our favourite site for our garden needs. Since the restaurant has opened this is a bonus whether for a quick coffee or a full meal. Excellent parking provision .

We always use the garden centre have done for many years. We believe in keeping small local bussiness open. We went along to sample the food at the restaurant. Wow it was fab and so have the other three times we have visited. We have had the sunday lunch the pork just melted in my mouth. We sampled the jacket potatoes they where huge loads of cheese and coleslaw. My sister had the spicy chicken panini she loved it. then theres the cakes. On a another visit we had the Cream tea the scones are HUGE and in all honesty the best we have very tasted and there as been many all over the country over the years. The scones they Delicious and very moist very very filling. well well worth the money. The staff are lovely very polite and very willing to help. The place is very clean and the girls are clearing the tables all the time. If you want first class food without paying through the roof then give it a try plus you are helping to keep a local family bussiness open.
