As the growers, we understand the plants and we can give you good advice on how to grow them. We don't just buy them in and sell them on like many of our larger competitors.

I really like this garden centre, the plants always look well cared for and the after care for plants is excellent. There is a good range of products. The couple of things that I haven't liked is that when you stand at the cake counter in the cafe you feel like you are invisible too much of the time. Many occasions we have stood there and people behind the counter walk past you, ignore you, see you standing there but don't do anything. The other thing is I didn't like the use of the chickens to sell the chicken runs. We could all see the run but why use live animals to sell them when it was only the run for sale anyway. Stick a couple of fake birds in there for size, but not live birds.

Love coming here occasionally on a weekend with the family and in laws. The restaurant sells high quality food and the cakes are heaven!! Breakfast here is a must. In the summer months there is a large sandpit for the little ones. The plants are good value for money and excellent quality. I think this is one of the best plant nurseries around and independent too! Keep up the good work.

The best garden center in Derbyshire. I love the veg plants that are produced on site. I also like the fact that the bagged composts are kept indoors. That stops the bags getting heavy and wet. The range of perennial plants is comprehensive and well thought out. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The cafe has good food. My first choice for all my gardening supplies.
