This garden centre is a real gem, good selection of plants at good prices. The cafe is a real bonus, I chose the quiche which I really enjoyed. It's so easy to get to, especially for people like me who don't have a car, No 10 bus dropped me off right outside. A lovely day out.

Great plants, pots, roses, supplies, but always come away feeling awful due to the staff at the tills, who always seem miserable and lacking in service skills, no customer friendlyness and queues build up. Youngsters serving at the weekend can hardly talk to the customer, its like getting blood out of a stone trying to get a reply, Always leave feeling I will not return.

I visited here yesterday after a few years absence. I found it to be very well set out, full of fabulous plants at reasonable prices. Very well presented! The cafe had a delicious gluten free cake, not the usual chocolate brownie, which after 30 years on this diet gets a bit boring! But the thing that really stuck out for me and what motivated me to write this, was watching two very busy members of staff spend real time with a frail lady, helping her with endless patience. It was a pleasure to see, I take my hat off to them, they were so busy but showed such care. Excellent service.
