It was the first visit for my mum and myself today. The first stop was something to eat but we had to restrain ourselves from getting side-tracked by all the plants on display. The food was well priced and enough variety to please most people and the coffee was excellent. The variety of plants was great, I am an enthusiastic gardener, but I find most things die on me, especially when I buy the smaller sizes so the more well-established plants appealed to me very much. Whether we looked bewildered or not I'm not sure, but at least four times staff came to us as we were looking and helped with information. I was overwhelmed by the helpfulness of staff and the number there were about so we were not playing hide and seek looking for guidance. The onlya slight disappointment, was at the compost section, I had to go and request someone to help to lift 6 bags into the boot, but when the young lady arrived she was apologetic and swiftly had the items into the car. Cannot wait to visit again.

We visited Bridgemere today and I have to say that we were very disappointed. There seems to be a lot of empty space throughout the centre as though they are low on stock; and prices are more expensive than other local rivals. The concessions are also very poor, with many appearing to be targeting the older customer- not ugh for younger or even middle-aged shoppers. We also went to the cafe and whilst the food and drinks were nice, the cafe area could do with a little more attention in terms of clearing tables etc. What has compelled me to write this review is the appalling state of the toilets. The toilets in the cafe area are in urgent need of refurbishment. With all the money that must pass through the centre, it is about time that some of it was reinvested in refurbishing the toilets. I must say that from my experience today,I will not be rushing back to Bridgemere.
