Pyle Garden Centre was reopened in March 2012 by the First Minister, Carwyn Jones and the ribbon was cut by Derek Brockway, BBC’s iconic weather forecaster. Since that date, there have many additions to make sure that it simply isn’t just a Garden Centre. The James brothers, who have taken their father’s legacy to dizzying heights, all want visitors to treat the Centre as a mecca for gardeners, but also a shopping and leisure destination for all the family to visit.

Went into restaurant yesterday. Too warm to stay so bought some 'goodies' to take home to eat. VERY expensive. Blond young man who served VERY rude and offhand. Were made to wait about 20 minutes till he could be bothered to serve us and served many others first though it was clearly our turn as we had already paid!! A lovely young lady was later (much later) told to prepare our goods .At 82, it was uncomfortable and painful for my husband to be hanging around, having already climbed the many stairs to get in to the café. Not a happy experience and probably won't go back there. Blond young man needs training in politeness and customer service. Incidentally, we are fairly smart, not scruffy and are well educated so no need to treat us this way. I should have asked for my money back but was too polite!!! Pity he hadn't been.

New to the area found this gardening centre and felt at home. We needed 2 button holes the lady that does them was on holiday but another member of the staff made them for us and very nice they were most helpful.

I came here a lot during the wyvale days, and went regularly when it was reopened but as of late I'm not to fussed I'm so glad a previous review mentioned Natasha and holly who were on the checkouts what a fantastic pair of staff they were practically running the place but haven't seen them working for a while? hope they haven't left. Displays are great flowers are fab Xmas is amazing. The bearded chap outside was amazing... But was hurt when I witnessed the store manager(white haired larger man) shouting at the store staff like a child.- not the way to work your staff I'm afraid and especially not in public view! All in all a great shop great staff.. Odd priorities and poorly run!
