We visited Brimsmore Yeovil today for the first time and were very impressed. They had many items that we have not seen elsewhere.. The farm shop was well stocked. We had a very nice lunch there, although it was quite busy the service was very good, nice friendly staff.. The pricing was a bit high but that's what you expect at any garden centre unfortunately. We will certainty go again!!

Went for Sunday lunch today and was looking forward to it because I had a great carvery there a couple of years ago, was very disappointed in the new lay out, tables were squashed together and the service was bad. Plated left on our table which we had to stack ourselves and get the attention of the waitress before they were cleared. The girl behind the till had a bad attitude and wasn't very helpful to another customer who was complaining abouthis meal

We saw a nice 7 pce garden dining set at £1,199 which had apparently been reduced from £1,499. The catalogue of the furniture range showed that the recommended retail price of all items included should be £1,193. Therefore, Brimsmore Garden Centre were selling the "reduced" furniture at a higher price than the RRP. We queried this and after some excuses we were offered the set at £1,000. Since the set included seat pads which were not great we asked if they would remove these and let us have the set at £900. The seat pads apparently retail at £150. The assistant spoke with Management and then offered to remove the pads but could only give us a 5% discount on the RRP of £1,043 which then gave us a price of £990.85; a grand saving of £9.15. I would like to say that the staff were helpful but whoever they asked regarding the pricing/discount must think their customers are idiots. I have just purchased the set without cushions on-line at £884.83.
