Lovely range of plants, both outdoor and indoor. Friendly, helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Have bought quite a few plants from here this year, all doing well, and even worth looking through the reduced section as you can always find a bargain. I bought a monkey puzzle which I am bonsai-ing and it is doing really well. Highly recommended.

The garden centre and all the plants are lovely and a lot of choices. BUT the catering side is terrible, we ordered jacket potato with beans and cheese, the beans were grey in colour the potato was a soggy mess the skin was black and horrible, the special roast dinner was frozen veg dried up roast potato and two tiny pieces of beef with cold gravy, and to make matters worse it took half an hour for this terrible food to be served and of course it was cold. The staff were laid back and just strolled along with the food.
I have read many reviews in the past (all bad) but yet to see an improvement.

went 'shopping at the centre today' just arrived to pay at desk when a member of staff informed me that the garden centre was closed and only the restaurant was open, must have made good viewing for the staff on CCTV, watching people shop before informing them that the centre was closed ho! ho! ho! obviously left all shopping for staff to put back. Perhaps a sign at the entrance would have reminded people that it was closed on easter bank holiday. .
