I visited the garden centre today with the intention to buy tropical fish. As it is the first time I have been in a while, I noticed the layout of the fish department had been changed around. I feel it hasn't improved for the better as a few years ago when the fish were in a larger area of the garden centre with a lovely bridge overlooking an indoor pond, it was a relaxing visit with a pleasant atmosphere. Today, I felt I wanted to leave straight away as the fish tanks have been cut down and they are dirty, have no oxygen and some of the fish were dying or already dead. My opinion is the fish are being neglected and the water in most of the tanks need a water change and air stones/pumps to allow the fish to have the correct amount of oxygen. I hope to hear something back from this as I was very disappointed with this experience and feel I wont be visiting again in the near future.

After visiting the garden centre ,i found it a very enjoyable experience.I had a lovely plate of fish and chips and found it to be better than steels.The staff were very friendly especially the lady in aquatics,she was a fountain of knowledge. I will visit again no doubt
