Went there today and saw a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants all in healthy condition. Most impressed. Everything is there. Cafe is very good as well..

In recent months we have been very disappointed with Bourne End Garden Centre. In the summer we bought what was labelled a chilli plant. After a few weeks when it had begun to grow we discovered it was not a chilli but some obscure house plant. Before Christmas we bought a poinsettia. They all looked a bit droopy but we assumed it would perk up once watered. It did not and we had to throw it out after a couple of days. Yesterday I bought two bunches of tulips for my mother’s grave. When I unwrapped them at the Crematorium I was appalled. They varied enormously in length. This was not possible to see until they were unwrapped, and they were half dead and very droopy. This was very upsetting as they were for my mother’s grave. With several garden centres in the area I cannot envisage shopping at Bourne End Garden Centre in the future.
