Very disappointing. I wanted ericacious potting compost and they only have it in expensive tiny 25L and 35L bags. As I need 400L I asked the sales person who was severely lacking in knowledge of the products, offering me non-acid composts despite being told I was potting Camellia and they need acid conditions. The website is not up-to-date as it told me they were open until 18:00. I arrived at 17:00 to find they had already closed.

I really look forward to a trip to Castle Gardens, the variety of plants is stunning, there is a large poly tunnel with an fantastic choice of bedding & hanging plants, with some hanging baskets already in bloom for inspiration. Staff are knowledgeable & friendly. I took my 93 year old friend in his large mobility scooter & he thoroughly enjoyed himself & was able to access 90% of the garden centre, a smaller scooter would be very easy to use, there is a scooter on site & disability WC. Now the cafe is fabulous with gluten free & Vegan choices , reasonably priced & great coffee. I commenter to a member of staff about how good the diabetic friendly coconut, date & raspberry cake was & she had researched & baked it !!! Home made cake. I spent 2 hours at the garden centre with my friend, we had a super time. Thank You. PS parking is very good no trouble finding a space & unloading the scooter.
