My local garden centre but all favouritism aside the best in the region bar none. I’ve been buying from Cowels for years and it’s always quality produce. I was in there the day before the Government closed most UK shops down due to Covid-19 (knew it was coming and we have new build house garden to fill so got a load of shrubs/plants just in the nick of time) and recall taking a glance back at the full Spring stock and saying to my wife it’s going to be a tragedy if they can’t go on selling these plants, they seem to be getting around it a tad with click and collect, and also deliveries, so well done Cowels. Also I would like to say thanks to Cowels for the tray of Primula left on the doorsteps of houses in our new build estate yesterday, superb gesture, I have done as requested on the letter left with them and shared with neighbours.

What a great set up to tackle covid times. Everything I needed all neatly laid out in the trolley along with everyone else’s orders. Really great work around and staff as lovely as ever. Plants in great condition and most grown by Cowell so know they will be ok in the north east. Great for local jobs and excellent to keep such knowledge alive. Plants in great condition. Best garden centre I’ve been too.
