We have been visiting Dobbies Cirencester ever since it opened as our family home is Siddington. Lately we have been very disappointed. Today I waited in the self-service queue for 20 minutes. One of our party ordered breakfast, was told it would be 30 mins and waited over 45 mins. There was 4 long tables laid out and resereved for lunch, so 26 seats empty all morning. Surely laying them half-hour before reserved time needed would have been better. Lady filling up cutley handed top end of forks and knifes, not hygienic as going in people mouths. Staff are over stretched, and give the could not care less attitude. Get you act together Dobbies as you need more staff that enjoy working there.

Went to Dobbies, Cirencester on the 18th May, was looking forward to an afternoon tea with my sister, was informed that a/teas were not available unless ordered on line ?? Alternative order took 25mins to arrive, and a further 20 mins for the tea, the teapots were placed at the edge of the table corner between us, not a safe positioning, no idea on waiting on tables. The overall feeling of the restaurant was disorganisation from start to finish. You may be short staffed (numerous recruitment ads) but please at least train the people you have.

I love going to dobbies and their products and cakes are excellent but unfortunately the service is slow in the cafe and I had a bad experience at Christmas where a couple were taking control of two queues so I had to just leave the woman was incredibly rude and I was treated awfully whilst the staff member just looked on I would not go to their cafe again the staff need to take control it's their store - get stroppy!
